Little League decided not to buy bunk bed railings before Utah player’s fall: emails

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT – Little League chose not to buy railings for dormitory bunk beds eight months before a Utah player was critically injured in a fall during last year's world series.

And a staff member a month before Easton Oliverson fell out of a top bunk in the middle of the night on Aug. 15 suggested the bunks should have railings.

That information is contained in emails obtained during discovery in the suit by Easton's parents, Jace and Nancy Oliverson, against Little League and the manufacturer of the beds.
