Naperville Millennium Carillon Summer Recital Series to Begin June 6

Above / Naperville Millennium Carillon Summer Recitals will be performed at 7PM Tuesdays, June 6 through August 15.

Naperville's Millennium Carillon in Moser Tower will host a nine-week 2023 Summer Recital Series at 7PM on Tuesdays from June 6 through August 15. One concert is planned Saturday, June 24.

The 72-bell carillon has been closed since spring 2021 for the rehabilitation work on Moser Tower by the City of Naperville.

The Summer Recital Series features carillonneurs from around the world as well as local performers and those from other states.

These free performances may be heard along the Riverwalk and audiences are welcome to bring folding chairs or blankets to listen to the concerts on Rotary Hill, at the base of the Moser Tower, located at 443 Aurora Avenue, across from Naperville Central High School.

July 25 – Katarzyna Takao-Piastowska, Carillonneur – Germany

August 1- Jon Lehrer, Carillonneur – East Lansing, MI

August 8 – Laura Ellis, Carillonneur – University of Florida

August 15 – Alex Johnson, Carillonneur – University of Chicago

The Naperville Park District plans to reopen the Carillon for tours and other concerts later in the summer.
