A Pokemon GO player has caught an extremely heavy Zorua, weighing a whopping 2845.9 kg, and players have reported catching even heavier ones due to a bug. Pokemon GO was the first Pokemon game to have different sizes of Pokemon, and over the years, it has evolved from being just a cosmetic attribute to an important aspect for collectors.

Pokemon GO players are always looking to catch rare Pokemon, with the hundos and shundos being some of the most sought-after variants. The rarity of the Pokemon isn't always connected to their strength. For example, while hundos are popular for their power, some unusual ones like shundos with their nil IV values are even harder to get. In one such instance, a player caught an extremely rare Pokemon that weighs much more than its counterparts of the same species.

A Pokemon GO player is horrified to realize that their rare Master Ball has been wasted on a useless 0-Star Pokemon.

In a new post on The Silph Road subreddit, user HazPokemonWillTravel highlights how they caught an extremely unusual Pokemon. Asking other players what is the heaviest possible Zorua that can be caught in the game, the user posts a picture of one weighing 2845.9 kg. This weight is quite unusually high for a Pokemon just 1.23 meters tall, and in fact, it rivals the weight of some of the biggest Pokemon ever. To put things in perspective, the user adds that their Zorua is heavier than an adult rhinoceros.

However, it seems like the heavy Zorua is just a bug and is referred to as "steel chair Zorua" in the community. In order to exploit the bug, players first need to catch a Pumpkaboo. There are different sizes of Pumpkaboo available in the game, ranging from XXS to XXL. If players set an XXL Pumpkaboo as their Buddy in Pokemon GO, every Zorua that spawns nearby will also be XXL. Alternatively, players have noted that any size of Gimmighoul and Flabebe also works for this. It is crucial to note that this only applies when players are using an auto catcher. That being said, the extremely heavy ones are still going to be rare spawns.

In fact, Pokemon GO fans are already competing to catch the heaviest Zorua, with the ones weighing above 30,000 kg being the most sought, as only a few players seem to have hit that target. With the Pokemon GO Halloween event underway, fans have an increased chance to find Zorua in the wild. Therefore, it is the perfect opportunity for players to catch the much coveted "steel chair Zorua."
